Adults are shaped similar to lady birds, featuring black, yellow, and sometimes white markings on their body. They can lay eggs in batched of 20 – 100 which can hatch between 2 – 4 weeks, meaning it does not take long for a small population to get out of control.
Fur Beetle (Attagenus pellio)
The adult Fur Beetle has two distinct white markings on the wing case, and the larvae of Fur Beetle commonly attack furs, skins, woolens, etc. and stored grain.
Larder Beetle (Dermestes maculatus)
Scavenger feeding on various animal materials such as skin, feathers, animal hair and dried fish.
